Hello!

I am a photographer based in Athens, GA and I love pups (and all animals), burritos, and Saturdays.

Why photography?

I think it is such an incredibly powerful way to tell a story. When I was a kid, I found my mom's camera and accidentally used up all her film (this was way before digital, sorry mom!) by taking photos of anything and everything. I was just so amazed at being able to take my imagination and make it come to life through a camera. 

My passion for photography has grown ever since! I used to go to the camera store (when the internet was just a baby and online shopping was a glean in our eye) and pick up cameras thinking to myself “one day I’m going to have one of these!”

Perspective on photography

I appreciate a camera’s ability to freeze a moment. I love how photography lets you tell a story. Gives you the opportunity to hang onto a moment that will serve as a nice little dogeared page in the story of your life.
